The Basics of Sewing
Try making your own pillow covering! This is a very easy project for beginners. Enjoy this tutorial as I show you how I made my pillow covering. You will draft your own pattern and finish your pillow with a hand sewing technique called Slip Stitch.
The Basic Pillow Cover
Square Pillow Insert- Size of your choice
Fabric: Woven, non-stretch, medium weight, 100% cotton
Note: 1 yard of fabric (44” wide) is enough for (1) 18”x18” pillow.
