Welcome to the site and thank you for visiting us!
I’m a self taught seamstress, since about 1994 (off and on) and always had a passion for fashion design. I learned the hard way by making a lot of mistakes and figuring things out as I went but, I love everything about the process and continue to learn.
I started Seams So Easy beginners sewing class in August 2018 from my home teaching friends and family. After that I took the lessons on the road. It was Seams So Easy on wheels! I had a great time teaching private lessons or group lessons with friends in their own space. Since September 2020, I’ve taken Seams So Easy virtually. To my surprise, it has been a great and much needed change.
Seams So Easy beginners class focuses on providing you with a good basic foundation of sewing. Once you feel comfortable with your machine and what it can do for you, you can then focus on learning new techniques. There’s so much to learn about sewing and plenty of resources that will help you. But first, get a good foundation of the basics and trust me you’ll be sewing your own seams in no time. -Rose
